Salary: ₹3.5 – ₹6 LPA (Estimated for entry-level engineers in EMS industry)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan systems.
  2. Generate Approved Vendor Lists (AVL) in Agile & Baan.
  3. Download and release customer documents like product specifications in CDC.
  4. Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new product changes.
  5. Release part lists to production for new models and ECO implementations.
  6. Manage ECOs for global manufacturing sites.
  7. Use Agile PLM system for ECO creation, routing, reviewing, tracking, and releasing.
  8. Study ECOs and drawings closely to support engineering teams.
  9. Coordinate with process and product engineering teams.
  10. Work with materials and engineering teams to review product updates.
  11. Respond to customer and business partner queries about ECOs.
  12. Ensure adherence to process metrics and set targets.
  13. Provide support during product lifecycle updates.
  14. Manage cross-functional communication effectively.
  15. Support documentation and compliance for engineering changes.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. 0–2 years of experience in NPI/ECO Engineering in a manufacturing setup.
  2. Experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry preferred.
  3. Hands-on knowledge of NPI, ECO management, and BOM handling.
  4. Experience using PLM software linked to ECO processes.
  5. Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook.
  7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  9. Basic leadership and people management skills.
  10. Conflict resolution and mentoring abilities.
  11. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  12. Ability to collaborate with global teams.
  13. Attention to detail in engineering change analysis.
  14. Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and standards.
  15. Willingness to learn and grow within the EMS industry.
