Qualification: B.E. (EEE/ECE) or M.Sc (Physics/ECS)
Salary: ₹3.5 – ₹6 LPA (Estimated for entry-level engineers in EMS industry)
Key Responsibilities
- Create part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan systems.
- Generate Approved Vendor Lists (AVL) in Agile & Baan.
- Download and release customer documents like product specifications in CDC.
- Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new product changes.
- Release part lists to production for new models and ECO implementations.
- Manage ECOs for global manufacturing sites.
- Use Agile PLM system for ECO creation, routing, reviewing, tracking, and releasing.
- Study ECOs and drawings closely to support engineering teams.
- Coordinate with process and product engineering teams.
- Work with materials and engineering teams to review product updates.
- Respond to customer and business partner queries about ECOs.
- Ensure adherence to process metrics and set targets.
- Provide support during product lifecycle updates.
- Manage cross-functional communication effectively.
- Support documentation and compliance for engineering changes.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 0–2 years of experience in NPI/ECO Engineering in a manufacturing setup.
- Experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of NPI, ECO management, and BOM handling.
- Experience using PLM software linked to ECO processes.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Basic leadership and people management skills.
- Conflict resolution and mentoring abilities.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams.
- Attention to detail in engineering change analysis.
- Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and standards.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the EMS industry.
