Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Graduation date by June 2024)
Estimated Salary: ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum (based on market estimates for entry-level tech roles in Trivandrum)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
- Apply BDD/TDD practices, code review, and agile testing frameworks.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Work with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, and use tools such as Chef, Docker, Terraform.
- Ensure system architecture supports scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Write high-quality, robust, and maintainable code.
- Debug, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex production software issues.
- Operate across complex business units with multiple stakeholders.
- Apply knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GoCD) and version control.
- Develop UI applications using HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, or Angular 12+.
- Work in Agile environments using Scrum or XP methodologies.
- Utilize automated testing tools such as Gauge, Cucumber, FitNesse.
- Work with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
- Leverage big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop as applicable.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Experience or coursework in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (CI/CD practices).
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting production software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (SaaS) and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Exposure to Big Data technologies or NoSQL databases.
- UI development using Angular or Bootstrap.
