Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces that meet rigorous functional safety requirements.
- Execute software development activities with a focus on quality and reliability.
- Perform peer code reviews to ensure best practices and standards.
- Manage software changes using version control tools.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests to validate UI requirements.
- Debug issues arising from software and hardware/software integration.
- Propose improvements to enhance UI performance and efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as scopes, meters, analyzers, and sniffing tools for development tasks.
- Conduct embedded testing for software and hardware systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware and software engineers.
- Support documentation of processes, designs, and testing.
- Implement solutions to improve product quality and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to functional safety and compliance standards.
- Participate in global team collaborations to share and apply knowledge.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in embedded development.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or electronics fields.
- Strong programming skills in EDDL, C, or C++.
- 1–2 years of software development experience.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, or Ethernet.
- Familiarity with version control tools like GIT or SVN.
- Understanding of microcontrollers (8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit).
- Knowledge of serial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.).
- Experience writing test cases and conducting integration testing.
- Ability to debug complex hardware/software integration issues.
- Hands-on use of test tools such as meters, analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in global, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Effective communication skills for cross-team interactions.
- Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving environments.
