Key Responsibilities

1. Develop software solutions using agile and waterfall methodologies.
2. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Deloitte’s standards.
3. Participate in design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
4. Ensure code quality, unit test coverage, and maintain best practices.
5. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements.
7. Contribute actively to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
8. Perform end-to-end development including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
9. Provide timely updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to project leaders.
10. Resolve issues reported by end-users and ensure business continuity.
11. Support application deployments and assist in production support activities.
12. Document code, design approaches, and technical decisions.
13. Adhere to Deloitte’s security, compliance, and quality standards.
14. Continuously upgrade technical knowledge to align with project needs.
15. Mentor junior team members when required and support team collaboration.

Required Skills and Knowledge

1. Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
2. Hands-on experience with ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC) and Web APIs.
3. Familiarity with ADO.NET, SQL, and writing optimized queries.
4. Knowledge of OOPS concepts and design principles.
5. Experience with Visual Studio, TFS, and version control tools.
6. Understanding of IIS and web/application servers.
7. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
8. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and web technologies.
9. Ability to estimate tasks and manage workload effectively.
10. Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
12. Flexibility to learn and apply solutions across multiple domains.
13. Exposure to frameworks like Entity Framework, NHibernate, or LINQ (preferred).
14. Familiarity with design patterns and clean coding practices.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
