Citi is hiring for the position of Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Lead Analyst – Vice President (Internal Job Title: C13) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a full-time, on-site role within Institutional Credit Management (ICM).
The selected candidate will be part of the In-Business Quality Assurance (QA) team under Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR). The role focuses on reviewing first-line CCR activities (excluding underwriting), conducting Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs), and reporting findings to business management and Independent Risk teams.
Estimated Salary: ₹45 LPA – ₹70 LPA (Industry standard for VP level banking roles in Mumbai; final compensation based on experience and internal structure)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective and credible challenge during Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs).
- Identify and escalate weaknesses in controls and processes.
- Develop and execute testing strategies based on existing policies and standards.
- Conduct objective assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
- Perform sustainability testing for issues raised by Internal Audit or regulators.
- Support wholesale credit risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and control processes.
- Stay updated with regulatory developments and industry changes.
- Contribute to internal QA initiatives and ICM Voice of the Employee (VOE) programs.
- Travel as required (less than 10%).
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) exposure measurement including Potential Future Exposure (PFE), stress testing, and factor sensitivities (Greeks).
- Deep understanding of OTC derivatives, securities financing transactions, trading strategies, and pricing models.
- Knowledge of risk mitigation techniques such as collateralization and margining.
- Strong analytical thinking and controls assessment capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, or Python for data analysis and visualization.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: BA/BSc or higher degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Experience: 6–10 years in counterparty credit risk, investment banking risk, internal audit, or quality assurance roles.
- Proven experience in credit risk frameworks and governance standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and proactive approach to risk management.
