- Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (B.Tech/B.E.) or related field
- Salary: ₹3.5 LPA – ₹6 LPA (Estimated, based on industry standards)
Key Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle
- Review and analyze system specifications for accuracy and completeness
- Execute manual and automated test cases effectively
- Document results and create detailed test logs
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues in collaboration with development teams
- Troubleshoot and support in resolving defects
- Conduct regression, release, and post-implementation testing
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices
- Contribute to improving testing methodologies and frameworks
- Maintain detailed test documentation for future reference
- Support continuous integration and deployment testing efforts
- Apply logical reasoning and problem-solving in identifying software issues
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment
- Provide input in sprint planning and reviews from a QA perspective
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and timely testing completion
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing or QA
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing methods
- Familiarity with Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or related tools
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile frameworks
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Perl)
- Experience with REST API/SOAP testing (preferred)
- Ability to document and troubleshoot defects effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to automation scripting and test frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
