Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify risks and evaluate product quality across multiple releases.
  2. Design and write test cases for functional and regression testing.
  3. Automate test cases using Cypress.io or Selenium.
  4. Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline.
  5. Define and track quality metrics throughout project lifecycles.
  6. Record QA artifacts and maintain structured testing documentation.
  7. Review developer code implementations to identify issues.
  8. Assist in planning and executing testing cycles.
  9. Set up test data for different environments.
  10. Debug and validate web applications during testing.
  11. Test REST APIs, database interactions, and session handling.
  12. Provide detailed quality reports to stakeholders.
  13. Conduct performance and security testing where required.
  14. Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
  15. Support continuous improvement through proactive QA practices.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. 0–1 year of QA and automation experience.
  2. Strong understanding of manual testing processes.
  3. Basic knowledge of debugging web applications.
  4. Familiarity with REST APIs and database concepts.
  5. Exposure to tokens, sessions, and authentication.
  6. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
  7. Initiative-taking and self-motivated personality.
  8. Keen attention to detail in testing and reporting.
  9. Experience with automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium.
  10. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing.
  11. Knowledge of defining and implementing test strategies.
  12. Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
  13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  14. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  15. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
