Key Responsibilities
- Identify risks and evaluate product quality across multiple releases.
- Design and write test cases for functional and regression testing.
- Automate test cases using Cypress.io or Selenium.
- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Define and track quality metrics throughout project lifecycles.
- Record QA artifacts and maintain structured testing documentation.
- Review developer code implementations to identify issues.
- Assist in planning and executing testing cycles.
- Set up test data for different environments.
- Debug and validate web applications during testing.
- Test REST APIs, database interactions, and session handling.
- Provide detailed quality reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct performance and security testing where required.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
- Support continuous improvement through proactive QA practices.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 0–1 year of QA and automation experience.
- Strong understanding of manual testing processes.
- Basic knowledge of debugging web applications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and database concepts.
- Exposure to tokens, sessions, and authentication.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Initiative-taking and self-motivated personality.
- Keen attention to detail in testing and reporting.
- Experience with automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing.
- Knowledge of defining and implementing test strategies.
- Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
