Key Responsibilities
- Identify risks and assess product quality over software releases.
- Design and write manual and automated test cases.
- Automate tests using Cypress.io and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and implement quality metrics, maintaining QA artifacts.
- Review developer implementations to identify potential issues pre-release.
- Plan and execute test cycles and set up necessary test data.
- Provide quality reports based on testing outcomes.
- Conduct performance and security testing.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Help troubleshoot and debug web application issues.
- Validate APIs, database interactions, and session/token management.
- Maintain strong documentation of testing processes and findings.
- Actively contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company-wide information security policies.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Foundational understanding of manual testing and debugging web apps.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs, databases, sessions, and tokens.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.
- Exposure to automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium.
- Knowledge of test strategy definition and implementation.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive in managing expectations and delivering results.
