Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, build, execute, and maintain backend, UI, and API test automation.
  2. Develop low-maintenance and portable test automation scripts.
  3. Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to understand requirements.
  4. Perform functional and non-functional system verification.
  5. Conduct manual execution of complex test scenarios.
  6. Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automation.
  7. Troubleshoot technical issues and report defects promptly.
  8. Perform requirements analysis and create robust test strategies.
  9. Configure and patch multiple test environments.
  10. Drive quality best practices across engineering teams.
  11. Document test plans, scripts, and results thoroughly.
  12. Engage with cross-functional and international teams for status updates.
  13. Identify and resolve potential risks in product performance.
  14. Provide continuous improvement recommendations for testing frameworks.
  15. Ensure product compliance with industry standards and requirements.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong programming and scripting knowledge (Python, Perl, Shell).
  2. Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
  3. Understanding of manual and automated testing practices.
  4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  5. Ability to maintain Windows/Linux/UNIX servers.
  6. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB.
  7. Understanding of configuration management principles.
  8. Knowledge of server virtualization (VMWare, VSphere).
  9. Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, SNMP, switches).
  10. Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, CVS).
  11. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  12. Good knowledge of test automation frameworks.
  13. System administration experience with small networks.
  14. Ability to write detailed test cases and strategies.
  15. Strong communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
