Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop embedded software for automotive applications.
  2. Implement real-time operating system (RTOS) solutions.
  3. Integrate automotive communication protocols with microcontroller architectures.
  4. Follow AUTOSAR and ASPICE standards during software development.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define software architectures.
  6. Conduct testing and debugging using tools like Vector CANalyzer and CANoe.
  7. Manage software requirements using tools such as DOORS.
  8. Document design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
  9. Use version control systems like Git for source code management.
  10. Collaborate using JIRA and Gerrit for project tracking and code reviews.
  11. Ensure adherence to automotive software development standards.
  12. Participate in code reviews and perform static code analysis.
  13. Contribute to quality assurance processes throughout the lifecycle.
  14. Support software validation and verification activities.
  15. Deliver components aligned with project goals and customer needs.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and RTOS
  • Familiarity with C/C++ programming for embedded applications
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.)
  • Exposure to tools like CANalyzer, CANoe
  • Awareness of software development standards like AUTOSAR, ASPICE
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Gerrit, or similar collaboration tools
  • Understanding of software requirement tools like DOORS
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
