Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Salary: ₹28,00,000 – ₹45,00,000 per annum (estimated for Hyderabad based on similar roles at top-tier tech companies)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop backend software components for enterprise systems.
- Make long-term technical design decisions supporting system scalability.
- Implement and maintain strong engineering practices such as unit testing.
- Contribute to Continuous Integration (CI) workflows and automation.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality standards.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Assist operational teams with troubleshooting complex issues.
- Participate in discussions to improve engineering and development processes.
- Build robust and scalable backend services.
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards.
- Support deployment activities and post-release monitoring.
- Present work progress and technical details to stakeholders.
- Engage in technical planning and roadmap discussions.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and guide team best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of networking, TLS, authentication, and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Solid foundation in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and OS concepts.
- Knowledge of distributed systems principles.
- Familiarity with software design patterns.
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Awareness of secure coding and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Ability to learn new programming languages as needed.
- Practical experience with backend engineering workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
