Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide first-level technical support for application and infrastructure issues.
  2. Troubleshoot problems related to operating systems, networks, and applications.
  3. Communicate with customers through email, chat, and phone for updates and resolutions.
  4. Document Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for recurring issues.
  5. Create and update knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
  6. Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams.
  7. Participate in on-call weekend rotational support.
  8. Work in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 support availability.
  9. Proactively monitor systems and escalate issues to minimize downtime.
  10. Execute problem-solving techniques to resolve technical challenges quickly.
  11. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams for issue resolution.
  12. Ensure effective communication and smooth handoffs during escalations.
  13. Support web server management and associated troubleshooting.
  14. Participate in improving documentation and support resources.
  15. Contribute to a high-quality support experience for all clients.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. 0–2 years of IT support or system administration experience.
  2. Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ADO and Salesforce.
  3. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  4. Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP protocols.
  5. Basic SQL knowledge for writing queries.
  6. PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  8. Ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Web server troubleshooting experience.
  11. Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  12. Fluency in written and spoken English.
  13. Knowledge of ITIL processes (preferred).
  14. Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware, Docker).
  15. Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
