Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for application and infrastructure issues.
- Troubleshoot common operating system, network, and application errors.
- Communicate with clients via email, chat, and phone.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technical teams.
- Document root cause analyses for recurring incidents.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Improve documentation and FAQs for common technical issues.
- Act as liaison between customers and technical teams.
- Provide timely updates to customers about incident resolution.
- Participate in rotational weekend on-call support.
- Monitor systems proactively to detect and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and support teams.
- Maintain accurate records in ticketing systems such as ADO & Salesforce.
- Assist in automation tasks using PowerShell scripts.
- Support cloud-related issues in Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 0–2 years of IT support or system administration experience.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (ADO, Salesforce).
- Strong understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of basic networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Skills in web server management and troubleshooting.
- Basic SQL skills (writing and executing simple queries).
- PowerShell scripting knowledge for automation.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Attention to detail with commitment to quality service.
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
