Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable software systems.
- Contribute to the development of last-mile delivery solutions using Amazon Flex.
- Implement real-time adaptive transportation and routing algorithms.
- Work on optimization problems involving large datasets.
- Build mobile-first solutions for delivery partners and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers.
- Participate in software architecture discussions and design reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and operational excellence.
- Engage in full software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
- Develop tools for monitoring, diagnostics, and system performance improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability.
- Implement automation for build, test, and deployment processes.
- Innovate solutions that reduce delivery time and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies for business impact.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language (Java, C++, Python, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
- At least 2 years of system design or architecture experience (scalability, reliability, design patterns).
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working on distributed and scalable systems.
- Familiarity with real-time systems and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with source control management systems (Git or equivalent).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of cloud-based systems and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
- Ability to write unit tests and conduct code reviews.
- Experience in the video games industry (development, release, or live ops) is highly valued.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
