Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable software systems.
  2. Contribute to the development of last-mile delivery solutions using Amazon Flex.
  3. Implement real-time adaptive transportation and routing algorithms.
  4. Work on optimization problems involving large datasets.
  5. Build mobile-first solutions for delivery partners and customers.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers.
  7. Participate in software architecture discussions and design reviews.
  8. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  9. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and operational excellence.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language (Java, C++, Python, or equivalent).
  2. Minimum 3 years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
  3. At least 2 years of system design or architecture experience (scalability, reliability, design patterns).
  4. Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
  5. Experience working on distributed and scalable systems.
  6. Familiarity with real-time systems and event-driven architectures.
  7. Proficiency with source control management systems (Git or equivalent).
  8. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  9. Experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  10. Knowledge of cloud-based systems and microservices architecture.
  11. Understanding of performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
  12. Ability to write unit tests and conduct code reviews.
  13. Experience in the video games industry (development, release, or live ops) is highly valued.
  14. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  15. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
