Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces (UI) for high-precision industrial instruments.
- Develop software to meet rigorous functional safety and performance standards.
- Conduct peer reviews and manage code changes using version control tools.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests to verify UI requirements.
- Debug software and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
- Use various tools like oscilloscopes, meters, power sources, and logic analyzers for testing and validation.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance UI efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics hardware, firmware, and software engineers.
- Document and maintain software specifications and design changes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality guidelines.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Work with global teams to achieve program objectives.
- Support end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to production.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong programming skills in EDDL, C, C++.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN).
- Knowledge of industrial digital communication protocols like 4-20mA, HART, Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, USB, BLE.
- Familiarity with serial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of test case writing and integration testing.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong focus on continuous learning and professional growth.
