Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support features end-to-end.
  2. Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and designers.
  4. Participate in thorough code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
  5. Monitor performance of deployed services and resolve issues promptly.
  6. Identify and implement improvements in codebase and infrastructure.
  7. Stay updated with new technologies to build scalable, modern systems.
  8. Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  9. Utilize modern frontend tools including React, Tailwind, and TypeScript.
  10. Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  11. Handle asynchronous programming patterns such as async/await.
  12. Perform unit and integration testing using tools like Vitest or Playwright.
  13. Maintain version control using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
  14. Contribute to CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  15. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using best practices.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
  • Experience with frontend libraries (React, Tailwind)
  • Backend development using Node.js frameworks like Hono
  • Database knowledge: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • Testing frameworks: Vitest, Jest, Mocha, Playwright
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming
