Key Responsibilities

1. Understand test requirements and design test cases.
2. Author test plans based on business and technical requirements.
3. Implement model-based testing for efficient test generation.
4. Peer review test cases to minimize rework.
5. Work with development teams to identify and execute test cases.
6. Define testing scope, criteria, and parameters for projects.
7. Automate test processes using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
8. Develop and execute automation frameworks and test reporting.
9. Set up test environments and create test plans, scenarios, and cases.
10. Detect bugs, file defect reports, and track test progress.
11. Ensure test defects meet defined norms for project acceptance.
12. Prepare test status dashboards for stakeholders.
13. Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks.
14. Maintain effective communication with customers and teams.
15. Ensure timely test execution, reporting, and updates in test management systems.

Required Skills and Knowledge

1. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and processes.
2. Knowledge of VB macros, GUI automation, and test automation frameworks.
3. Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test lifecycle management.
4. Ability to design, execute, and analyze test cases effectively.
5. Experience with bug tracking, defect reporting, and test management tools.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
8. Ability to work within SLA guidelines and quality benchmarks.
