Job Overview

Lowe’s is hiring an Associate Analyst – Supply Chain for its Bengaluru office. This role focuses on improving supply chain operations, inventory management, transportation planning and the movement of products from suppliers to distribution centres and stores. Selected candidates will work with different teams to analyse supply chain data, improve freight movement, support inventory planning and generate useful business insights. Candidates with at least one year of experience in supply chain management and knowledge of Power BI, SQL, MS Access and Excel can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with Supply Chain Planning, Network Optimization, Transportation and Distribution Centre Operations teams.
  2. Improve the inbound flow of products from suppliers to distribution centres and stores.
  3. Support inventory depth and freight flow timing activities.
  4. Analyse supply chain operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Support seasonal inventory planning and promotional activities.
  6. Assist with product reset activities and seasonal inventory builds.
  7. Extract data and prepare reports to generate business insights.
  8. Support channel selection and freight flow strategies.
  9. Analyse transportation costs and inventory requirements.
  10. Help determine optimal casepack quantities to reduce excess inventory.
  11. Support inventory placement and replenishment strategies.
  12. Assist senior analysts with data collection and assigned tasks.
  13. Collaborate with different business teams to improve supply chain performance.
  14. Prepare analytical documents and reports for management.
  15. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or a related field.
  2. Minimum 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  3. Applicants should have knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.
  4. Candidates must understand planning, forecasting and transportation processes.
  5. Applicants should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
