Job Overview
Cognizant is hiring a Java Developer (AWS) in Chennai to build and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications. The role involves working with Java, Python, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. The selected candidate will also support automation, production activities, vulnerability management, system performance, and continuous improvement while working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java and Python.
- Design scalable, reliable, and secure backend architectures.
- Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services.
- Build and maintain applications using Spring Boot and microservices.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Handle day-to-day engineering activities, including scripting and production support.
- Identify, track, and support the remediation of security vulnerabilities.
- Perform vulnerability management activities across relevant applications and systems.

Eligibility Criteria
