Key Responsibilities

  1. Write clean, functional code using languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python.
  2. Contribute as part of an agile team during sprints and product development activities.
  3. Participate in code reviews and follow standard engineering practices.
  4. Develop and test APIs for enterprise-level applications.
  5. Support proof-of-concept development for new tools and automation initiatives.
  6. Build and enhance customer-facing applications for mobile and web platforms.
  7. Design and implement systems for secure data collection and processing.
  8. Collaborate with senior engineers to understand business requirements.
  9. Develop solutions aligned with American Express technical guidelines.
  10. Assist in integrating applications with iOS, Android, and web environments.
  11. Support debugging, bug fixing, and performance optimization activities.
  12. Document code, processes, and system behaviors as required.
  13. Participate in technical training and development sessions.
  14. Engage with cross-functional teams to understand broader system architecture.
