Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for application and infrastructure issues.
- Troubleshoot operating systems, network, and application-related problems.
- Respond to client queries through email, chat, and phone.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical teams.
- Document recurring issues through Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
- Continuously enhance support documentation to address common issues.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams for smooth resolution.
- Provide timely updates and ensure clear communication with clients.
- Participate in on-call support during weekends on a rotational basis.
- Work in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 system coverage.
- Monitor systems proactively to detect and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams for resolution.
- Maintain effective handoffs during shift transitions.
- Support process improvements to enhance customer support efficiency.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or related fields.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ADO, Salesforce).
- Proficiency in Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP protocols.
- Knowledge of web server management and troubleshooting.
- Basic SQL knowledge, including writing queries.
- PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and service orientation.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills for cross-functional engagement.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts and on-call schedules.
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on timely issue resolution.
