Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide first-level support for application and infrastructure issues.
  2. Troubleshoot operating systems, network, and application-related problems.
  3. Respond to client queries through email, chat, and phone.
  4. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical teams.
  5. Document recurring issues through Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
  6. Create and maintain knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
  7. Continuously enhance support documentation to address common issues.
  8. Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams for smooth resolution.
  9. Provide timely updates and ensure clear communication with clients.
  10. Participate in on-call support during weekends on a rotational basis.
  11. Work in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 system coverage.
  12. Monitor systems proactively to detect and resolve issues.
  13. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams for resolution.
  14. Maintain effective handoffs during shift transitions.
  15. Support process improvements to enhance customer support efficiency.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. 0–2 years of experience in IT support or related fields.
  2. Familiarity with ticketing systems (ADO, Salesforce).
  3. Proficiency in Windows or Linux operating systems.
  4. Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP protocols.
  5. Knowledge of web server management and troubleshooting.
  6. Basic SQL knowledge, including writing queries.
  7. PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  8. Exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  10. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
  11. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Strong attention to detail and service orientation.
  13. Collaboration and teamwork skills for cross-functional engagement.
  14. Flexibility to work rotational shifts and on-call schedules.
  15. Customer-first mindset with a focus on timely issue resolution.
